AS9100
LETAR has been registered to AS9100 since 2005. The
AS9100 standard was developed using the ISO9001, AS9000, and
EN9000-1, and builds on them to produce a globally-harmonized
standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies
worldwide. It is the first standard available for use across
the global aerospace community, AS9100 adds the additional requirements
necessary to address both civil and military aviation and aerospace
needs.
ISO
9001:2000
LETAR's Quality System is ISO 9001:2000 compliant.
A manufacturing plan is prepared for each order, including inspection
procedures, to ensure conformance to customer specifications
and requirements. Quality control personnel conduct and record
in-process and final inspections as directed by the plan. All
incoming material and documentation is examined by Receiving
Inspection, marked for identification and stored in a controlled
area. Certification records are maintained in controlled filing
systems. The procedures have been documented in detail in LETAR's
Quality Manual, and can be provided upon request.
Controlled
Goods Registration Program (CGRP)
LETAR is approved by the Department of Public Works
and Government Services of Canada to examine, possess or transfer
controlled goods in accordance with the Defense Production Act
and the Controlled Goods Regulations.
CMM
Inspection Technology
Accuracy is verified at maximum measuring speed and
certified to ISO 10360-2 and VDI/VDE 2617 standards. Non-porous
ceramic material in the X and Z axes guarantees stability and
rigidity and makes the machine ideal for parts of any size and
shape, made of any material. Air bearings wrap around all four
sides of the Y-guideway for extra rigidity and stability.
