Aircraft structural & avionics aerospace products

LETAR is currently approved as a supplier of flight hardware, tooling, test fixtures, and Ground Support Equipment for the International Space Station Program. Recent projects included the manufacture of two shipping trailers. Each trailer was comprised of 6'x10' complex frames for transporting Special Purpose Dextrous Manipulator Arms from the customer's facility to the Kennedy Space Center integration area.

Aircraft Components

LETAR is regularly involved in machining of the structural wing components such as ribs, fittings, brackets, etc. CNC programming often involves creating a part model using Pro-Engineer and MASTERCAM software and working with original CATIA files supplied by customers.

Keyboards and Displays

LETAR manufactures cockpit control components such as panel and frame subassemblies, keyboard button plates, light plates, back plates, studs, bushings, etc. All aluminum frames are glass beaded and assembled with Heli-Coil inserts, per customer specifications.
